What better way to shed light on topics relevant to high school aged kids, than to have teenagers performing for other teenagers?  Sonoma Arts Live’s Teens ‘N Training ensemble has written an original play addressing issues directly related to young people.  Faces We Show/Faces We Hide is a play that boldly and poignantly discusses bullying, popularity, body image, family problems, and so much more.  Follow eight teenagers as they navigate the challenges, accomplishments, and revelations that accompany coming of age.  

The ensemble will tour this production to Sonoma Valley high school, Sonoma Charter School, Saint Francis Solano School, and has invited 35 teenagers from the Boys & Girls Club to attend our dress rehearsal.  Each school performance will include a talkback with the cast and the opportunity for the audience to play theater games with the Teens ‘N Training actors.  Thanks to a generous grant from Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers we are able to offer this production to local schools, free of charge.  The ensemble will then perform for 5 nights at The Theater School where the public will witness this cutting-edge, pertinent performance.
